Frequently asked questions

How much is on a roll of wallpaper?
The rolls are almost all 10 meters long and approx. 53.5 centimeters wide (EURO standard). Other dimensions only apply if there is a corresponding note in the description text.
-
What size are the sample pieces?
For a sample piece, we cut an approx. 21 cm long piece from the wallpaper roll. The size is therefore almost always 21 x 53.5 cm.

How many rolls do I need for my wall?
If your wall has a "normal" ceiling height of approx. 2.50 m, you will get 3 strips = 1.6 m wall width from one roll. This already includes the waste for sticking the pattern together (repeat). If your wall is higher, e.g. 3m in an old building, you will only receive 2 strips from one roll.
The calculation can be carried out as follows:- Wall width divided by roll width 0.535m = number of strips required:
e.g. 4.70m / 0.535m = 8.79 = 9 sheets - Roll length 10m divided by ceiling height + repeat (usually approx. 53cm or 20cm) = number of sheets per roll:
e.g. 10m / (2.55m + 0.535m) = 10m / 3.085m = 3.24 = 3 sheets per roll - 9 sheets / 3 sheets per roll = 3 rolls
- Wall width divided by roll width 0.535m = number of strips required:

How can I protect my wallpaper from moisture, kitchen fumes and other soiling?
We have had very good experience with "Molto wallpaper protection". This is a transparent varnish that you apply to the wallpaper after wallpapering. The wallpaper is then washable and scrub-resistant. The varnish is practically invisible. We used the varnish in our kitchen and are very satisfied. You can buy the paint in DIY stores or on eBay.

Unfortunately, one item is already sold out - will it be available again?
All our items - wallpaper, lamps, vases etc. - are old originals. If something is sold out, we cannot reorder it anywhere. There is only a small chance that we will find a similar item again - but of course we can't promise that.
