How much is there on a roll of wallpaper?
The rolls are almost all 10 meters long and approx. 53.5 centimetres wide (EURO standard). Other dimensions only apply if a corresponding note is found in the description text.

What size are the sample pieces?
For a sample piece we cut a piece of wallpaper about 21 cm long from the wallpaper roll. The size is therefore almost always 21 x 53.5 cm.

How many rolls do I need for my wall?
If your wall has a normal ceiling height of approx. 2.50m, you will get 3 pieces = 1.6m wall width from one roll. This already includes the waste for gluing the pattern repeat to each other. If your wall is more than 3m in height, e.g. 3m in an old building, you will only get 2 pieces from one roll. The calculation can be carried out as follows:
- Wall width divided by roll width 0.535m = number of pieces required:
e.g. 4.70m / 0.535m = 8.79 = 9 pieces
- Roll length 10m divided by ceiling height + pattern repeat (often 53cm or 21.5cm) = number of pieces per roll:
e.g. 10m / (2.55m + 0.535m) = 10m / 3.085m = 3.24 = 3 pieces per roll - 9 pieces / 3 pieces per roll = 3 rolls
- Wall width divided by roll width 0.535m = number of pieces required:

How can I protect my wallpaper from moisture, kitchen fumes and other dirt?
We have had very good experience with "Molto Tapetenschutz". This is a transparent varnish which is applied to the wallpaper after wallpapering. Afterwards the wallpaper is washable and scrub-resistant. The varnish is practically invisible. We have used the varnish in our kitchen and are very satisfied. The varnish is available in the do-it-yourself store, or also at eBay.

An article is unfortunately already sold out - will the article come in again?
All our articles - wallpapers, lamps, vases etc. - are old originals. If something is sold out, we cannot re-order it anywhere. There is only a small chance that we will find a similar item again - but of course we cannot promise that.
